WHAT IS THE ENBRIDGE HER+ PROGRAM?
As of January 1, 2023, The Government of Canada in partnership with Enbridge is now offering up to $10,000 in grants for Ontario homes with an Enbridge Gas account, and up to $40,000 in an interest-free loan toward the cost of your home energy upgrades not covered by the grant.

Energy Audits are designed to provide a detailed analysis of your home's energy usage, along with recommendations on the upgrades that would be most impactful.

How does the Enbridge HER+ program differ from the Canada Greener Homes Program?
It's the same program, with added incentives and benefits such as:
SIMPLIFIED PROCESS: The new HER+ program application process has been simplified to now allow homeowners to apply for the program directly through their service organization vs. through the NRCan website. Homeowners can apply by making a phone call to schedule their audit!
INCREASED GRANTS: The Enbridge HER+ program provides up to $10,000 in grants for properties in Ontario that have an Enbridge natural gas account number (vs. $5,000 through the Canada Greener Homes Program).
SECONDARY PROPERTIES NOW ELIGIBLE: The Enbridge HER+ program now allows primary and secondary / rental properties in Ontario to participate as long as each has an Enbridge gas account number. Each property will also qualify for up to $10,000 in grants.
HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1
Book an energy audit
with one of Greenbrain's registered Energy Advisors,
prior to making any upgrades to your home.

STEP 2
Receive your custom energy evaluation report
which will include a detailed snapshot of your home's energy usage and a list of recommended upgrades.
*If you are applying for the loan program, you may apply after receiving your reports and will need approval prior to proceeding with your upgrades.

STEP 3
Complete at least one upgrade
recommended from your energy evaluation report.
STEP 4
Book a post-retrofit audit
once all of your upgrades have been completed.
STEP 5
Receive your rebate cheque
plus up to $600 back towards the cost of your energy audit.

Up to $10,000 back for INSULATION
Up to $1,300 back for AIR SEALING
Up to $175 - $325 for each WINDOW and DOOR replaced
